Once a grave has been safely prepared with suitable shoring, if it's not being used right away, it is really important to cover it for safety. We're concerned that a simple board is not enough to protect all site visitors, as it could be easily moved and might not fully reduce the risk of falls and tampering.

You can then simply remove the cover right before the burial begins, ensuring you have reduced the risk to the maximum.
