CEMETERY ZONING
Memsafe LTD conduct a full site safety survey and inspection to ensure that all possible hazards are highlighted in order to prioritise the cemetery areas most affected. The process is called cemetery zoning. A report is then collated with our findings and presented in an easy to read format. Also included within the report is a list of recommended cost effective solutions to help determine a programme of repair/reinstate any unsafe memorials within the cemetery. Memsafe LTD can carry out the repairs when instructed by the client to Ministry of Justice guidelines and relevant British Standards whilst ensuring the highest standards of dignity and respect are upheld throughout the entire process.

Here at Memsafe, we have qualified and experienced Structural Engineers available to assist with any memorials or monuments that require a more detailed inspection. This gives you reassurance in the knowledge that no matter how big or how small, how old or delicate the memorial may be, we can undertake the inspection it requires.
MAKING SAFE MEMORIALS
We believe that it is simply not acceptable that once a memorial headstone has been identified as unsafe, that it is ignored or left as someone else’s problem. For that reason, we will determine before any inspection programme is started, that we have a solution to problems for you, assessing the risk and taking the most appropriate course of action. One of these options could be to form a temporary make safe support for the memorial. The most popular, aesthetically pleasing and cost effective in the majority of cases, is the traditional method of using timber. Upon request, we are equally happy to supply bespoke systems manufactured from metal. Allow us to help you have the best possible solution to your memorial making safe programme.
