The Federation of Burial and Cremation Authorities (FBCA), the Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management (ICCM), the Cremation Society of Great Britain (CSGB) and the Association of Private Crematoria and Cemeteries (APCC) recommend that all cremation authorities involved in the cremation of babies and Infants (including Non-Viable Fetal Remains) must make use of the best available techniques to maximise the recovery of ashes from cremation.

Infant Cremation Tray

Our infant cremation trays have been tested in over ten cremations with less than 2.5% distortion and are made from stainless steel to eliminate scaling. The design consists of a flat bottom to allow for easy removal of remains minimising the loss ashes during the cremation. This item should be used in conjunction with cremator manufacturers, FBCA and ICCH recommendations.

Discharging Trolley

Designed with safety in mind the Teleshore discharging trolley allows cremation trays to be safely removed from the cremator reducing risks such as accidental contact with cremation trays.

The trolley has the following features:-
Shielding on sides to stop tray being pulled off the trolley.
Cover which can be placed over tray to minismise accidental contact.
Small design size allows trolley to be quarantined into a smaller area.
Locking castors and height adjustment allows safe placing of trolley.

PPE – Health & Safety

The use of cremation trays, trolley and tools have been engineered with safety in mind to ensure risks are kept to a low level as possible. However, there is still a need for PPE that will be identified in your risk assessment, for example:-

Rapid cooling at discharge – Small hot particles may spark off the tray so we have developed the following (All to relevant standard)
